Wenke Wins Right To Life Endorsement KALAMAZOO—State Representative Lorence Wenke-R, Richland, received the coveted endorsement of Right to Life of Michigan in his bid for re-election. “On behalf of the Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee, we would like to thank you for your pro-life commitment to the protection of human life, born and unborn,” stated the endorsement letter to Wenke from Right to Life. According to the Right to Life website, the Right to Life of Michigan-PAC was established as the political action arm of Right to Life of Michigan to endorse candidates for political office who would be the best and most effective voice for the unborn. When determining endorsement decisions, Right to Life of Michigan considers pro-life status, electability, and voting record if an incumbent. Wenke, who represents the 63rd District in the State House of Representatives, has a 100% voting record with Right to Life of Michigan. “Right to Life is a very well-respected organization whose platform I cherish,” said Wenke. “The Right to Life endorsement is one of the most honored endorsements any candidate can receive.” In addition to Right to Life, Wenke was also recently endorsed by 6th District U.S. Congressman Fred Upton and 7th District Congressman Joe Schwarz. The 63rd District includes parts of Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties. ### |
